其他學習經歷

優環長學建築設計研究中心 (CARE)及香港中文大學建築學院社區參與研究組 (CPU-CUHK)致力推廣建築設計及城市規劃專業範疇給社會大眾了解，並擁有豐富研究及策劃教育課程經驗，以跨專業及跨學科模式結合時事議題，配合嶄新及富創意的學習活動，鞶固學生的基本學習能力，鼓勵他們從多角度思考，發揮創意設計及建議理想的社區環境。

CARE 及 CPU-CUHK 過往豐富的教育經驗正切合現正推行的「其他學習經歷」學科的需要，更能夠豐富現時通識課程的教學內容。現誠意根據各校的特點，提交課程建議書，策劃及進行切合教師、學生及家長需要的課程活動。

Other Learning Experiences

Centre of Architectural Research for Education, Elderly, Environment and Excellence Ltd. (CARE) and the Community Participation Unit, School of Architecture, CUHK (CPU-CUHK) care for the needs of the community through integration with architecture and urban planning profession in recent years.

In response to the upcoming curriculum reform in Other Learning Experiences (OLE), CARE and CPU-CUHK intend to provide educational consultancy services to schools. Other Learning Experiences by nature is holistic and interdisciplinary. It goes in line with the rationale of Liberal Studies curriculum. With their profound in research and planning experiences in educational sector, CARE and CPU-CUHK will tailor-make an “Other Learning Experiences” education programme proposal for schools in response to the needs of teachers, students and parents accordingly.

教育局委托香港中文大學建築學院社區參與研究組及優環長學建築設計研究中心製作一套網上的學習教材套，名為「在香港學校推行可持續發展教育」，並已上載教育局網站，歡迎各老師及同學參考。

“Education for Sustainable Development in Schools in Hong Kong”

“Education for Sustainable Development in Schools in Hong Kong” is a web-based environmental education learning package project commissioned by the Education Bureau to the Community Participation Unit of School of Architecture, The Chinese University of Hong Kong in collaboration with the Centre of Architectural Research for Education, Elderly, Environment and Excellence (CARE). The package has been launched on Education Bureau website for school teachers and student reference.

林雲峰總監獲國際扶輪3450地區香港扶輪社及香港女童軍總會邀請於二零一零年五月八日舉辦之「人人慳一成」大行動－全球氣候變化與電能節約論壇作演講，分享綠色及可持續建築與電能節約的設計例子。

“The Ten Percent Campaign - Forum on Global Climate Change and Energy Saving”

Principal Bernard V. Lim was invited to be one of the speakers for the Rotary International 3450 - Hong Kong Rotary Clubs and Hong Kong Girl Guides “The Ten Percent Campaign - Forum on Global Climate Change and Energy Saving” on 8 May 2010 to share examples of design for green and sustainable architecture and energy saving.

Hong Kong Island East Harbour-front Study

CARE and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, School of Architecture, Community Participation Unit are appointed by the Planning Department as the public engagement consultant team of the Hong Kong Island East Harbour-front Study to solicit public comments on the initial options of the enhancement proposals. Principal Bernard Lim was invited to be the award presenter at the “Sustainable Development for Tomorrow” - Speech Competition for Hong Kong Schools, organized by the Aberdeen Kai Fong Welfare Association Social Service Centre and supported by the Sustainable Development Fund on 28 March 2010, and shared this joyful moment with the awardees.

Public Participation in Planning Process Forum

Principal Bernard Lim was invited to be one of the speakers for the Public Participation in Planning Process Forum, organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects, Hong Kong Young Accountants Association and Roundtable Community, which will be held on 3 March 2010. Other speakers include Legislative Councillor Hon. Patrick Lau and Director of Roundtable Community Mr. Lam Fai.

探索歷史建築－活化建築創作班

承接上月二十號的「親子定向遊」活動，優環長學建築設計研究中心與古物古蹟辦事處於二零一零年一月九日在尖沙咀文物探知館舉行了「活化建築創作班」。優環長學建築設計研究中心的導師及來自建築系的學生先向參加者講解香港的文物建築及保育的手法，並指導他們製作美荷樓的模型，一起運用創意構思最佳的活化方案。

"Historical Buildings Exploration Series - Building Revitalization" Workshop

The second part of the Programme Series jointly organized with the Hong Kong's Antiquities and Monuments Office (AMO) entitled "Historical Buildings Exploration Series - Building Revitalization" was successfully held at the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre on 9 January 2010. The staff of CARE and architectural students firstly introduced the historical buildings in Hong Kong and their conservation work. After that, the participants were led to brainstorm the elements they want to add in revitalizating Mei Ho House and make a model.
