The Planning Department is carrying out a 3-stage Public Engagement Programme (PEP) for the Hong Kong Island East Harbour-front Study (the Study) to collect public views on the enhancement of the Hong Kong Island East harbour-front areas and build consensus on the
enhancement proposals.

The Stage 1 PEP was held during March - April 2009 & the Stage 2 PEP had kicked off on 16 April 2010 and lasted for 2 months. CARE conducted a wide range of public engagement activitie including Public Briefings, Workshops, Drawing Campaign and Questionnaire Survey to solicit publics' vision on the Study and the comments on the initial enhancement proposals. These views would be passed to the Consultant team for further consideration, and the enhancement proposals will be refined and announced to the public in the Stage 3 PEP which will be held later.
