Since 2002, the Hong Kong Housing Authority Exhibition Centre Workshops have been organized by the Hong Kong Housing Authority and coordinated by the Centre of Architectural Research for Education, Elderly, Environment and Excellence Ltd (CARE).

The workshops provide Educational Thematic Programme for the public with the aims to introduce the design and planning concepts and achievements of public housing in Hong Kong , to obtain feedback and design ideas from the community through participatory workshop processes. Through a series of design charette and activities, the workshops try to introduce the development and history of the Hong Kong Housing Authority and public housing, new facilities in public housing, considerations for improvement projects, quality management services, and efficient resources management.
