Background |

The ¡§Concern Group on Waterfront Development in Eastern District, Works and Development Committee¡¨ of the Eastern District Council is now organizing a series of ¡§Community Workshops for Waterfront Development at Eastern District¡¨, with the Centre of Architectural Research for Education, Elderly, Environment & Excellence Ltd. (CARE) as co-organizer and other professional/academic organizations such as the Master of Landscape Architecture of The University of Hong Kong as supporters. The public is now invited to participate in the Community Workshops to express their views with regards to the future direction of the Waterfront Development in the Eastern District. |

Objective of the Community Workshops: |
• To discuss the constraints and opportunities for the Waterfront Development in the Eastern District. |
• To solicit views from the public on the future Waterfront Development in the Eastern District |
• Through the professional support from CARE and other professional/academic organization, to formulate proposals from the workshops for the future follow-up works of the District Council. |
