計劃簡介

為期兩年的「關心社區文物」計劃,獲可持續發展基金撥款,並得到民政事務局贊助,由優環長學建築設計研究中心統籌及執行。計劃的目的是讓學校社群及專業人士一起發揮創意,為文物建築創作保育設計,好讓文物建築以更理想的方式與社會共融。透過互動和親身體驗的學習過程,學生進行研習分析和設計,為文物建築注入新元素,希望有助政府部門擬定政策和社區發展。除了創作的「成果」,更重要的是學生從「過程」中學習到社區文物建築可持續發展的重要性。計劃亦期望能啟發學生作多方面學習和思考,對社區的文物建築提出創新的保育設計,令它們產生社會和經濟效益。計劃特色包括:

一、讓學生仔細觀察和深入了解社區文物的特色和價值,合作創作保育的構思,協助改善社區環境;

二、讓社區、專業人士、學校和家長成為伙伴,共同關注社區文物建築的可持續發展;

三、讓社區更關注可持續發展問題;及

四、製作書刊、網頁和研習紀錄,讓更多人士分享參加者的學習及創作成果。

 

   

Project Brief

The two-year "Transforming Our Community Heritage" Project patronized by Sustainable Development Fund and sponsored by the Home Affairs Bureau, is coordinated and launched by the Centre of Architectural Research for Education, Elderly, Environment, Excellence Ltd. (CARE). The project aims to provide an opportunity for integrated participation by school communities and professionals to develop creative design proposals for conserving our built heritge with a view to better integration with the community. Through an interactive, participatory process, students' research and ideas will provide stimulating, spontaneous and original contributions to the District Councils, Government and the community; and students will learn from the process the value of a commitment to sustainable development , which will be as important as the “products” of the project. Moreover, the integrated and participatory creative workshop process fosters ideas on the possibilities for transforming historical buildings and sites into economically and socially sustainable entities for the community. Characteristics of the project include -

•  Students as Team Members to comprehend the characteristics and enhance the identity of our Community Heritage and to take part in developing Creative Transformation Proposals

•  The community, parents, schools and professionals as partners to enhance the Transformation of our Community Heritage

•  Developing Sustainable Environmental Agenda for Neighbourhood Environments and Community Districts

Preparing documents, a webpage and research and design projects to enhance community influence
